I owned a 2000a4 2.73 and still own a 2005a4 GTO. If you have 2.73 it's going to be a driver race with the GTO having the advantage. The GTO is hard to hook up of the line but if he is a really good driver on a good day he has a shot to run very low 13's or maybe high 12's which would be hard for you to match if you are stock with 2.73. The power to weight ratio of these cars are very similar the advantage for the GTO come in when you consider it's got a 3.46 rear but it also make it hard to hook up the rear tires which are only 245 or 235 wide.
