Defective frame welds

frame failure
As of this date I called Chevrolet and made a complaint. They gave me a claim number. I took the 2000 Corvette to Gearhart Chevrolet in Denville N.J. The service manager took over from there and the car is being fixed by Chevy. The frame was welded, all other bracket welds were checked and a four wheel allignment was included. The car should be ready tomorrow.

Wow! Good for you! You have a good dealer. I looked at the two brackets I can see with the wheels on on my car. They are fine. I'll look at the others soon. I bet all of us 2000 owners will.
