haha, he isn't opposed to the idea... but he's the conservative one with our money. I'm the "I don't care what it costs if I want it I'm buying it" one. It's just a little harder when you're talking several thousand dollars worth! I think he's convinced that if we sell his motorcycle, like we did mine, then he can get a corvette all his own. But then we run into the issue of who gets what mod, and who gets the faster one! And yes, the avatar is me.

Before we put a bullet in this thread I want to add my $3 dollars and fiddy cents
Someone suggested mixing high octane with mid grade. This isn't a bad idea, and actually has validity. Mid grade fuel has more oxygen then high grade which causes it to burn faster, where as high grade burns slower. This is why some they say high octane is better so it won't detonate the engine.
A lot of guys who race motorcycles that rev well over 10 grand constantly mix race fuel (103+octane) with 87 octane. The mix works well as it has more oxygen for quick explosive combustion with the 103 so it has less chance to blow the engine.
