I had serious issues with a set of MSD wires/LT1 application two years ago - real nightmare to figure out as they were new. MSD had major issues with their LT1 Billet Optispark distributer as well. I'd be reluctant to purchase their products again.
A couple years ago I was in a hurry and a neighborhood speed shop had some MSD wires. They worked GREAT,,,,for a while!! Last fall I was getting a EBCM problem diagnosed,,,and they informed me I had a miss when they road tested. I was baffled,,said it was running fine earlier,,hadn't noticed it when I brought it in.They had an old used stock wire,,swapped it in,,and gave me the MSD wire,,,complete with a corroded connection inside the plug end of the wire!! I too will be VERY hesitant to use any MSD products!!
