I feel the pain, My Vette is a 2002 MY, It is in the shop now and having the same problem, and this is a Corvette Specialty shop. Color does not match.
Hey, as long as their willling, and don't charge you extra, give them a chance to make things right. Why couldn't they do a trial spray on something else, before spraying your car. That way they could tell if they have a match. For example some pieces that they took off your car from the accident?
Yea, I think that's what they're going to do. They seem very willing to work with me.
At this point I'm honestly more worried about the wind noise it has that I posted about a few posts up. It's definitely not the window seal which is the only wind noise complaint I could find from searching.
Sorry about your luck Dave, hope you get it solved. But as others have posted it's a common thing apparently. I honestly don't notice any variation in my paint but, I am weird so who knows?

I was just saying some painters may not be able to do it because it is a very tough color. I have no experience with it myself, but I know a couple of high end painters who have shot it and they say that stuff is a headache.
Scary...I'm going through this right now but I'm being told by the shop they have absolutely no problems doing a great paint match. It goes in Monday...
