Cool it fan controller
Suppose you are in traffic and the fans are not on. Or you turn the A/C off to try to cool the engine. Woodward Dream Cruise coming up comes to mind. You could pull off and drive fast for a while. You could watch the temp keep going up and up. It would be nice to push a button and have the high fans come on and cool the radiator.
And we are talking small cost for this product right now $49 - 89 shipped; simple to install in a few minutes.

With the AC on, BOTH fans are on HI, cooling the rad. If they do not come on, then you have a fan issue...
You would not turn the AC off to cool the engine, you would turn it on to start the fans.

I think what minitech is saying is that if your Vette is getting hot in traffic the best thing would be to turn the A/c off since running it generates a lot of heat, but that will also turn off the fans, so it would be nice to be able to turn the fans on again. But Spoon83, your right if the car is hot the fans should be running anyway until the temp comes down and the ECU turns them off. Here is where the Cool It! v2 can be helpful, on a stock vette the ECU turns the fan off at around 220 degress and on at around 230 degrees (cant remember the exact temps) but if you turn on the Cool it! v2 you can bring the temps down to around 210 or so and hold it there depending on the condition of your cooling system and thermostat. If your cooling system is in bad shape or a bunch of debris is blocking air flow it won't matter how much the fans run its still going to get hot.

Thanks
