I understand what they are they just look out of place. most hood stripes yes they look good they flow with the car ..... Fender stripes do not it's simply two lines on the fender that follow no line and go nowhere i don't like them and will never be on my car but that's me

I want them but what makes me angry is seeing them on all the f body transams and Camaros riding around 
If I remember correctly I think I saw them on a new style camaro 
. This makes me not want them on my car

Boy, they sure look sharp on that EB Z in the red.
The wife and I have been considering adding striping to our MR roadster. Some friends of ours added silver hood and deck stripes to their MY roadster and it looks great.
I have been wanting to do a pearl white against the 3-stage MRII color, but the wife doesn't think that they will look good together. Maybe we'll just do fender hash marks instead of the up and over striping....hmmmmmm.

Thx for all the replies--sounds like a 50/50 as to liking or disliking--for now im just going to think about it--I think some put them on to stand out and show power---Kinda reminds me of adolf hitler and -his-

I believe that was as very bad analogy. GS stripe and a Swastica I am not sure what yiou were thinking.
