I saw someone the other day with lights in the two open slots on each side on the lower rear bumper that lit up when he hit the brakes and acted as a turn signal as well. Can someone please tell me where you get these? Looked pretty sweet at night!
...never saw that before. Perhaps Radio Flyer is up to some new tricks!
Actually, I've given thought to this, but found that area is structurally unstable for mounting any kind of lighting. One could mount LED strips or similar, but they just don't have a finished look IMO.
I need rear fog lamps in UK and I'm not a fan of the stock GM Euro rear fogs which are fitted in the rear fender. I've wired up LEDs in the lower vents to act as high intensity fog lights. They run on a separate circuit on a switch in the cockpit. It would be easy enough to hook those into the T/S circuit if that was what you wanted. I got mine from an online supplier.
Wow! Those euro fogs are nasty. Sort of like zits on your ***!
I wonder if you could wire up the reverse lights (surrounding the plate) so that once the car is not in reverse and going forward, so that you have euro fog "switchbacks"?
They look like TIR-3 LED pods. Am i correct?I'm interested to see how you mounted those.

Not sure of location restrictions, but I designed a setup that fits in the OEM license plate trim:
I use this in fog/heavy rain and it REALLY makes me visible
theradioflyer looks really nice man! PS this is a horrible question, but exactly how do you know where wire up the LED's like if you were tying into the TS, that it wouldn't trip the system or throw something off? Thanks!
Not A Z06 keep us posted on how those are mounted please! Very interested in those as well!

I don't think the BCM is too picky about how to wire reverse lights. I've had mine every which way from incandecent, LED, Halogen, relay halogen, relay HID and finally relay HIR bulbs. No problems with any of those setups.

Got the lights from
R&P Carriages.com
They are Maxxima Bright LED Projector Flood Light 3 diode.
Just made a U bracket and used self taping sheet metal screws in to the underside of the bumper frame. Then just spliced them into the backup lights.
Aww man I hope this guy is on the forum. Carlisle this year, my buddy and I were walking around and we saw a FLAWLESS mag red or TR c5 with both lowers done, it looked very good. He used it for his brake lights, I would have done it for my reverse lights.
by flawless I mean the quality of it was great, probable an L.e.d light bar, not strip
