I want to replace my alternator for a Chrome alternator on my 2004 but am having problems finding one that is a direct replacement. By that I mean that plugs right into a C5. I have looked at Summit, Jegs etc but none are for a C5. Where can I get one that is Plug n Play?

Edit - link isn't working, however just go to Corvette Central website, click on C5 icon and then search under Chrome Alernator. It provides both the 1997-2003 and then 2004 versions.

Thanks! At $410 it's a lot less expensive than other vendors!

I have one perfectly polished.... the cost is $250 over stock, with a fresh rebuild.
Polish work identical to chrome, although if daily driven it will need a hand/jerkoff job every few months. Otherwise it would look like chrome for years being a garage queen.
