I have long resisted the temptation to make any modifications to my '01 Z06. I have had a Blackwing air filter and other goodies sitting in my garage for years now, but I've never installed them because I wish to keep my car as close to factory original as possible. I won't even put a shorty antenna on the car. Many would argue that my car truly is "bone stock". In the end, however, even my car can't be called "bone stock" because (for obvious reasons) I added a skip shift eliminator and a CLB kit.

You are using the term "bone stock" incorrectly. Unfortunately a lot of other car owners are guilty of this as well.

thank you for showing that you have a lot of sense.
