Twas on a bad road yesterday. You know the kind, potholes. It was one of those miss two hit one type of roads.
Anywho, hit one at slow speed (no car or wheel damage), but the DIC went bonkers with a "Service Traction Control" and "Service Active Handling" messages. Pulled over and ran the codes. They were all related to the above. I cleared the codes and happily motored on home without any problems.
Are the C5 Z06 puters or sensors just that sensitive, or is there an underlying problem?
Not just the Z. My '00 coupe has the same problem. It will do it if I make a hard turn from a redlight or stop sign and goose it a little as well. All I ever do is pull over somewhere, turn off car, crank it again, and all the msgs are gone.
I've had the Active Handling message pop up when doing a lot of low speed parking lot turning, stop to shop, turn some more, stop to shop with the wifey.
