Ah! That makes more sense. My dad had that issue with his Vette. The key ended up being the problem. The resistor was bad. The pass-key system wouldn't let the car start. The key would turn, lights and stuff would go on, but the engine wouldn't even make an attempt to turn over because the computer didn't recognize the resistor as the right one.

got it back from the chevy stealer, and they said the starter was damaged when they instaled the headers. they replaced the starter, positive batery cable, and the fuseable links. $1000 later, car runs great.

Thanks on the pooch he is one of 3 in our family he is a rescue along with our other Boxer and Great Dane!
