Really? So just putting that wire to a ground somewhere in the car would work?
actually it involves moving the yellow harness wire over one spot in the connector AND THEN grounding it (yellow lead) and the green e brake wire to bypass the in motion lock out. if you haven't been on avic411.com you should check it out.
Well I was going to bypass it originally but I had recently heard that even WITH the bypass, the GPS will shut the "bypassed" functions at a 10 or 20 MPH mark anyway. So I had decided not to bypass it if it just was going to shut down at 10 mph anyway. My info could be wrong though.
Good advice, Ill think about doing the "bypass" if yours works just fine blue. Lets hope I dont mess up moving that wire over haha.
And yea that z120 upgrade will be sweet. Hope the price gets lowered soon

Bleh! I just hooked everything up, works fine other than NO BASS. The WHOLE reason I went through the trouble of getting the adapter harness (XSVI-2004). The little silver box has an power led which is not lit. Why would this thing not be turning on? All the wires are correct as far as I can tell and I turned on the acc for 30 secs then turned it off like it said. I did have the radio connected at the time do I have to do the 30 second thing without the radio plugged in?

I am not a fan of that harness. The roem-vet1 is so much better and 40.00 less
however
did you connect the blue white wire from the radio to the blue wire in the harness? The blue wire will be the power antenna wire. If not this is your problem. Most people hook blue to blue and blue white to blue white. This is not correct

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH thats what it is ty sooooo much Dennis! <3
The only wire have unhooked from the radio is a blue wire labeled Antenna control and on the harness the blue/white wire labeled amplifier turn on. I have NO blue /white wire coming from the radio. So really my only option is the blue to blue/white correct?

check and see if the blue white is on a harness with the rcs ends on it. I think your radio has it seperate

hmmm ok you are right , So how do I get the lead running to the big amp for the subs? Do I make the wire go to the harness amp and tap into it for the amp I have connected to 12' subs?

so you have subs with an amp and the factory speakers?
sorry just need to know exactly what your running
take the amp turn on wire and the blue wire in the harness and conenct to the blue white on radio harness
That sounds like the solution! If I have anymore problems would it be ok if I toss you a PM? I seemed to be quite plagued with them You have the patience of a saint
