Default New interior! Pics

After i got my C5, I started looking into replacing my seat covers since they were old and cracked and the driver bolster had a small tear. So after looking at several companies and some of the forum vendors, I realized I'm on a budget. lol. Interior isn't cheap. Until I found a set offered by JWMotoring, one of our forum vendors. I have been informed that this interior kit is fabricated by Cover King.

The kit I ordered included a pair of seat covers in a two tone color scheme, e'brake boot, shifter boot and wheel skin. With a price well below many of the other companies that I had researched, I was worried about quality and fitment of the components. So lets look at the quality.

Right out of the box, the covers looked as if they followed the exact factory build design with perforated center sections in the seat and back as well. The only difference i noticed where there were none of those stupid hog rings to mess with. They were replaced with plastic clasps.

The fitment is nearly perfect. This is the first set of seat covers I have installed so i think some of the wrinkles you see in the outside part of the bolster and the top outer edges of the seat may be from installer error. The stitching on the seats is beautiful as well as strong. I wrestled around and put quite a bit of stress on them while putting them on and there is no signs of damage. And the color is a perfect match to the original.

These are vinyl covers and not leather. I noticed the only parts that wore out and cracked and got brittle on my stock seats were the actual leather parts and the vinyl parts still looked good. So I figured I would give these a try. I honestly couldn't be more happy and proud of my car.

Thanks for the review! I hate that it took so long to receive them. They do look good in your c5 though.

Sorry about the quality of the pics. I took them with my phone and they aren't that clear.

Those do look nice. Did you replace the seat foam too? If not, that might tighten up those wrinkles. I had close to 100k mile when I replaced my skins. New foam made a big difference.

No, its still the factory foam with 130k miles. I may replace it this winter, because I'm seriously thinking of installing heated pads inside them. My budget only allows for one chunk of car money at a time.
