I watched my dad and mom struggle for many years raising us 4 kids. Same with my wife watching her single mother raise 3 girls. My mom is 60 and my dad 63 and they just sold the house we grew up in and moved into a 1/2 million dollar home they built here in Colorado.
I knew years ago I wasnt going that route. Too many "toys" I wanted and I wanted the big house waaaay sooner than 63 years old. My wife and I stopped at one child. It was awesome to watch him grow and now see him thriving as a young adult of 22.
Im 42 my wife is 48 and we love our son dearly, but its also very nice to have almost no debt and pretty much come and go as we please, buy what we want etc. We simply told ourselves we wanted to be "young" empty nesters.
Good luck to you and the new baby on the way!
I'm only one of two kids, but I can't see myself having any of my own. I also want too many toys, and don't have the patience for parenting.

Therefore, get the new Z as soon as possible. You can always duct tape the car seats in the trunk.
