Just bought my first Corvette! Extremely excited but I have a couple questions. 1: It's a 2002 coupe but it has the 50th anniversary logos on the front fenders. I believe these were put on by the previous owner. He gave me some story about it being a late 2002 model...blah, blah, blah. Just wanted to know if I should remove them so as not to misrepresent the car and its model year? 2: It has an intermittent rattle in the passenger side rear. Not obnoxious, but it still makes noise, especially when making a left turn and the weight is put on that side. Maybe I'm just not used to it yet. Extremely happy and excited to be a Corvette owner and look forward to years of enjoying the car and driving the hell out of it. I have already used this site for many questions I had previously and everyone has been gracious and welcoming in their responses. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Before removing the badges I would check the VIN to determine the model year. Remember, early 2003 models were sold in late 2002. If so, it could be titled as a 2002, even though it is a 2003.

So what, no cars came with 50th side badges except the Ann. Editions, so any way you cut it they should not be on the car. I'm voting wheel hub bearing for the noise. Congrats.
No one asked,,does it have 50th anniversary nose and tail emblems. All 03's had them,,different from the limited "Anniversary Edition" emblems,,that ONLY came with a special dark red (forgot the name)with a gray interior!!Only these had the fender emblems!! Hope this helps!! Whatever,,welcome to the madness,,and DRIVE and ENJOY your vette!!!
