Is this a good upgrade for an A4 with 2.73 gears?

I guess what I'm wondering is if I would have to upgrade the 2.73 gears to really take advantage of the supercharger.

With 2.73 gears they feel a little sluggish on the bottom BUT once it's get's past the bottom you won't forget you have a supercharger. You can also do a gear swap in the future which will really wake up the supercharger.

Dammmm...if you were only on the east coast I'd be all over this like moths on a porch light.

Do you know anyone in the East that will install your kit for a similar deal?

Who else wants to get blown? Supercharging is the best way to get a bunch of HP, have great drivability, and easily pass emissions testing

Below is Ryan's we just finished last week and have more scheduled to be completed before the end of the month.. who else wants one?

Wow, $6600 installed! Awesome price for an addition 175 HP, wow.
If I wasn't so far away (I'm in Iowa) you'd be installing the kit on my 02

I wished you were closer too. Ahhahah. Btw we've had 5 customers last year drive as far as Texas to have us install a supercharger for them. They just made it a nice road trip and vacation

It would take about 3 days. I could loan you a car to cruise around Northern California . There's alot of stuff you can do in NorCal, wineries, beaches, San Francisco, etc

I guess you guys just don't know the answers......

The reason I ask is:

a) Some of us have C5s that smog somewhat close to the HC limit; a supercharger "could" push it over the top.

b) Larger injectors are technically, illegal in CA - hence, my question.

We have installed and tuned over 100+ cars with superchargers and 99% of them pass without any issues. If the tune is right, and you don't have a big cam, and have good catalytic converters passing emissions should not be an issue. You are wrong that larger injectors are technically illegal as MANY supercharger kits with CARB numbers include CARB EO numbers.

As far as the HCs I couldn't tell you because we never ran a comparison of HCs of before and after supercharger installs. BUT, I can tell you MOST of our customers pass smog without any issues.

How ridiculous would a blower and 4.10 gears be? I'm cammed and 4.10's. Most people say that I should switch back to 3.15's if I want to go the blower route, Thoughts?
