when I get mine in, if I love them (know I will.) I will be buying the brake duct ones as well as the front air intake pair. Can't wait! Seems to be the best deal out there.
The screens came in last night. They look great. The wire mesh is very solid, not like many of the flimsy ones I have seen before. Looks Like I will be placing some more orders. Thank you again everyone who suggested Vetteshop.
I bought mine over a year ago from this forum..don't remember the vender though. Used the supplied double sided tape and clean beforehand. No issues as of yet but when washing the car, lightly and gently wash these parts and avoid spraying direct water at this as this and the soap will affect the sticking parameters (i sound scientific ). You shouldn't have any issues if you gently rinse...good luck!
I bought my original set from WCC way back in 2004. They were installed with the double sided tape (side coves and rear fascia screens). Both sets had a L-shape grip with the tape and none of the four screens have ever come loose. Just make sure you prep well.
However, in terms of look, I think Racemesh are the best looking. I plan to upgrade my set over the winter when I add the front brake screens and the fog light framed screens. Below is a comparison pic. Chip @ CCA can set you up.

I bought a full set from the auction site . They are GM style 100% stainless steel and I installed the front brake ducts myself, but when it came to the cove screens, I took the car to County Corvette Inc. and had them install them, but I had them use a adhesive called "Seal-All" that I got from home depot that has incredible holding power. Even since I damaged my lower back it's a real job to just vacume the Corvette out on the weekend. I'm in so much pain sometimes I can't think straight.
Mine fell off after a few months, I purchased some Velcro 3M Low Profile Dual Lock (high temp/high stick) worked great and I have used it for other installs (exhaust plate, etc)

I used long bungee cords to hold mine in place while the silicone dried.. I put a plastic zip tie top and bottom of each piece of mesh and then hooked the bungees to them and back to the rear wheel........Lotsa rags and towels to keep from marring any finishes.....Cleaned everything up with alcohol pads then bedded each piece in with silicone.......Using the bungees with the rear wheel as an anchor point really helped line everything up........
