One of these days I'll be needing more room under the fenders. With the full-fender replacement flares costing over a grand, I'm looking at this kind of alternative, if available for a C5. As an option, I can do a fill and smooth at the mounting seam line if I want to, so I don't have to necessarily leave the seam line.
If there is nothing like these, looks like I'll have to pony up for an L5 or other full fender type....OR just get busy with a saw, some epoxy, and some glass,....the way we did it in the 60s and 70s

I've seen those before, and they look ok, but you can see the seam...not the cleanest look. I would say its a cheap alternative to the L5's or TPE's, but the key word is cheap, in the sense that they look sort of cheap but have a high dollar price ($590) which is not cheap. If you decide to get these I recommend filling in the seam with putty and then painting it. The thing is, if you go this route you might as well get the quarter panels with the flares built in...it only cost a few hundred bucks extra. Just my opinion...
I think you would be better off spending $1500 to $2000 and tub.
If you really need flares it's not a good idea to waste money on
a product that is inferior in alot of ways. Your choice, good luck.
