I'd be interested in knowing just what was in the Milestone Edition owners packet that you have. Mine is #11 and I got all the stuff the original owner had available but would like to know if I got all the items that were given out at the time of purchase.
It had Dana's signature on the fuel rail cover. It was NOT clear coated over and could easily be removed during cleaning if not careful.
The packet included the NCM membership application, Brick order form (I hope to go see it someday) and a flyer that listed the other items such as the Blackwing, shift ****, Corsa exhaust, Z06 wheels (standard width) etc. Other than floormats, badge on the ashtray door, decals, there were also gel emblem badges on the fenders. I think I may still have one of those badges laying around. Ill have to check my file.
I believe the Milestone Option was about $5k over sticker.
Oh...I also have the watercolor framed and on my wall.
OH!! Also a Certificate of Authenticity...(I had forgotten about that!)

Here is a poor pic of the window sticker with the milestone edition add on. $4995. It lists everything included. The other glossy is a flyer advertising the milestone edition.
In this pic are the corvette museum docs including the brick and membership apps. These came in a red glossy folder with the NCM logo on the front.

I was the second owner of #001 Z06. Had all the add ons and was the one depicted in the water color and displayed at the museum. A Chevrolet dealer in north or South Dakota was involved with the concept and had a stock of extra decal sets. At the time the dealer told me the decals had a 4 year shelf life. Car had only 5000 miles on it. Wish I had it back.
I do realise the original post was a while ago but I am curious as I had never heard of this model. It is obviously a love or hate car!!
Does the car designation have a RPO number? As I am looking at a 50th anniversary which is similar equipped, does any one believe the Milestone would keep its value any better, not the reason for buying either, just want a different C5!

I still have my Milestone Edition car - an Electron Blue coupe. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, only about 100 were made. If you can find one for sale, you will be lucky. I've not seen many up for sale, either on the forum or on car selling sites.
The Milestone Edition package was not an RPO and was not a GM accessory, it was something a buyer could specify at the dealership when purchasing a car and was available through a company called Milestone Editions, Inc in partnership with the National Corvette Museum. It was only available on either a torch red, white or electron blue car and could be had on a coupe, vert or Z06.
As can be seen from the comments when this thread was originally made, some like the graphics, others don't. Honestly, I've had many, many more compliments on the car than critical comments. It is a unique car - as I understand it, it is the only time a package was available on the Corvette that included a partnership with the National Corvette Museum - even though that partnership was with a private company rather than GM.
As to the potential value long term of the car, that remains to be seen. The one that sold at Barrett Jackson in 2010 brought a premium price for a car with 50K miles on it, but that is only one car. I paid $25K for mine with 8500 miles on it at the time, which was less than half of the MSRP (including the package cost). I got a very good deal on the car.
If you can find one for sale, just be sure that it is a genuine Milestone Edition car - it should come with all the stuff Ducati Don listed in his post. Most importantly, be sure it has the limited edition watercolor print and the Certificate of Authenticity.
If you find one and have more questions, feel free to ask. I'll try to answer them or can always get in touch with Dana Forrester who designed the graphics package and lives about 130 miles from me.

I have a white one and get nothing but compliments and questions about the car. I realize some my hate the graphics but it does have a unique story behind it, not just another C5.
Jack, we still need to get a red, white and blue one together for a photo.
Shakey, you beat me to it. Hope you are well. Vetteman Jack thanks for sharing I was very curious also and hope you are well too. Not sure the decals are for me but I like the uniqueness.

As I said, the decal package is not for everyone, but it does make for a different story for the car.
