No pinstipe on Corvettes. IMO it would take away from the natural lines and curves that makes the Corvette as sexy as it is. Just my two cents.....

I don't think you will find many C5's pin striped, unless they are ultra custom. The lines on a C5 really don't need or work well with pin stripes.

The only things I had pin striped were my valve covers and nitrous bottle . As for the car itself never !

Custom hand pin-striping is very popular in my club on both C5s and C6s. I am thinking about getting vinyl stripes for my car (vettestripes.com) but I don't see myself getting a bunch of curly-que squiggles on my MRII vert.

It's your car, do what you want to it. The area surrounding the side coves could lend themselves to a very fine subtle pinstripe.
