I was there friday-sunday. Friday did seem a little light, but the vendors were still there all the way through sunday afternoon. Installation alley was still busy with activity even after the car giveaway. Definitely had a blast and will be a return attendee yearly.
I do have to say, definitely walk around ALL the vendor tents, including the ones in the swap meet area. I won't give details but I did buy a product from a tent in the midway vendor area, and then found the same product about 15% cheaper at a smaller tent. Oh well, still had a blast. Now that I know where people eat and hang out afterwards, I think next year I'll actually be more social and meet some more people.
to me Friday was busy,,,noticed more trailers in the parking lots on the way in than usual...lots of trailer queens. the fun field was jammed Friday and especially Saturday. I think the sales tax thing is keeping a few of the Vendors away which is too bad. You would think with the number of people who come to attend the event the state would give the vendors a weekend exemption as the surrounding area certainly makes up for what they dont get at the fair grounds...oh well.
