Silver with Gray stripes?

Silver with Gray stripes?
Looking for some input guys 
On my Silver 98 I did black stripes and loved it. This time around I'm thinking of doing something different for two reasons, the sake of change...and the fact that someone local bought my old car and drives it around here. My Z06 is silver with the Grey stock rims so I'm thinking of trying to match the stripes to the rims for a more subtle look. Or maybe I could do the commemorative stripes in Gray with the black outline. What do you guys think?
Has anyone here done this? Would love to see some pics!

Either of those would look good IMO. Or even a gray stripe with a red outline would look good.
