Road Trip
Just got home recently from a road trip starting in Ontario down through the states. Went through the show in Carlisle on Saturday and saw some awesome machines and met some great people, who I'm sure a lot of you are on this site.
I unfortunately had a dead battery at the end of the day, which did not want to take a charge. The owner of the corvette parked just down the row from me just happened to have a spare battery in his car and gave it to me, in exchange for my dead one, so that I could get far enough to purchase a new one!
The show was followed with a drive down through the blue ridge, and into TN to drive the tail of the dragon. What an intense experience, and I wanted to share it simply because of the gentleman nice enough to help me out, and get me on my way without the hassle it could have ended up being.

Sounds like a great trip. Glad it worked out on the battery. I'm always amazed at the number of stories of vette owners helping each other out. A great club to belong too.
