Dimming Mirrors
I have a question. Just got my 04 C5 hatch about a month ago. Pretty well got all the quirks worked out of it but I might have a new one. Tonight, I used the dimming rearview mirror for the first time because some jack--- was tailgating me. It worked fine. Then I looked in the driver side mirror and it was dim! I was thinking that this was pretty neat. So I look over to the passenger side and it is normal. WTH? I can't imagine GM only making one side of the mirror work but not the other.
Where should I start? Or is this how they all are?
Thanks
Brandon

Have no fear mate, all is in order. It is working fine and passenger side does not dim, just rear view and drivers turns a blue color.

Why is that dumb? I suspect for safety reasons they decided not to dim the passenger side.

I have the auto dimming mirrors on mine and yes, the passenger side does not dim. Just the way GM made it.

It just seems to me that if you're going to have 3 mirrors, that same technology should be in all three. It just seems that "2 out of 3 ain't bad".........
