It is virtually waterproof yet breathable.
Its made to be all weather.
However, I am not sure how any fabric would react to Ice and Snow.
It will have to be your call whether you would use it or not. I am located in Florida,
So we do not have harsh winters. Possibly if someone see's this post who is in a Northern state.
Maybe they could give you some imput.
