You know for years now my 2000 after driving for about 12 min's at night the headlamps dim only for a split second. I've checked everything and can find nothing wrong. I thought maybe it was the same bump in the road on my way home every night or maybe the first cycle of the cooling fans. I've never had my battery go down and she is always charged and ready to go. But I really dont think this is a normal condition. any help will be great.

The manual trans cars have an "air pump" by the driver's headlight that runs for a few minutes after startup to warm the cats up. I visibly see the voltage on the DIC drop (along with headlights dip) for about a second periodically for a few minutes.
After its warmed up, headlights on, the turn signals have virtually no effect on voltage for me. If you place a heavy load (have your fan on high, rear window defroster) does it get more pronounced? What does the DIC voltage (or a real VM on the battery) when the signals are applied?
