This was my fourth year there and it was a great time as always, I noticed that attendance was way down.
As you came in to park the attendants spaced the cars every other space. That was great but at the end of the day I noticed that the rows only went to the gate 8 entry road as they did the other years that I was here only this year there was half the cars to get there.
My black 08 Coupe 6M and NPP. This shows the wide parking spaces.
This is a recent barn find of Mike's. 57 Vette was in a barn for the past 38 years. A project that was never gotten to. I told my wife that my 3 year old project to finish the basement was not as bad.
A nice 58. This is what the barn find could look like.
The pic of the DIC showing 34.5 av. mpg upon arrival at the motel 200 miles from our starting point. It is clear on my computer but harder to read on Photobucket.
Was my first time, I drove over from St. Louis Friday afternoon and just stayed for a few hours. I have nothing to compare it to, but it was worth the drive! I figure it was more crowded Saturday, but there had to be in the ballpark of a thousand corvettes there Friday afternoon. Pretty neat deal, and an impressive operation they run there. I think we enjoyed watching the 4 Z06's doing the 1/4 mile run there over and over where they were taking people for rides. I was curious as to, a) who would do that to their car all day (they were running the heck out of them cars!) and b) how the police were allowing it - the road was open with regular traffic just driving along, and here were these cars running zero-90+, it was fun to watch, if not a little dangerous! I never got a chance to ask someone how they were pulling it off. Anyway, weather cooperated Friday and Saturday I think, think some rain rolled through last night and today was probably not great. Was fun and I'd recommend to anyone close enough and thinking about going sometime. I'll be back and stay a night next time!

Just pulled a few pics of the concert out of the camera. The concert was excellent. They have really improved the lighting and sound at the stage area.

The cars giving the rides were the GM Performance display cars and employees were doing the driving. One was a ZR1. This was done on friday only when the traffic was light.. Good time had by my group....
