I agree with them. I can see my light tinted sets just fine. I asked a friend that drove behind me and he had no problems seeing when I was slowing down.

Only thing I find dumber is the clear tail and brake lights like on a Prius that don't look red till they are illuminated.
Go for it and get bashed in the rear.

I agree with Hank.
I admit it looks cool for shows, but I think your deluding yourself by not admitting you have diminished light output.

I am not going to get rid of the blackout so the only thing to do is get some LEDs and i am pretty sure you sell them.
DO i just replace the bulbs i have now with them? or how does it work? Can you send me more info and on what lights i would have to buy?

I actually have to but having said that to each their own. I'm taking the conservative approach and vote for safety over style but again....to each their own.

I haven't actually found any plug n play leds that I would consider bright enough to spend the money on besides the Halo LED tails. That's what I run and with the tint and plenty bright.

I started with the blackout lenses but a friend of mine complained he could not se my tailights in a driving rain, installed the LED halos, and he can now see me better than the vette in front of him when i'm a coupe of cars in front of him. If this makes any sense at all.

hmmm, well i went back today and had my girlfriend get in and step on the brakes and you can see the lights fine, it only seems to be a issue when its a bright sunny day outside and the sunning is hitting the back of the car
i really don't care much for the halo led taillights, is there no other solution to this other than either get rid of the tint or buy the halo LED taillghts?
Direct quote from Corvette Enhancements "When compared to a Red OEM lens with a standard bulb, our Black Cherry LEDs are very close to equal the illumination. We've found that the parking lights are marginally brighter with our Black Cherry LEDs, while the brake light is marginally brighter with Red OEMs and standard bulbs. These margins are so close, that it’s very difficult to distinguish which lights are actually brighter.
