When did ownership change hands? Is this the 2nd AB has changed hands?

I saw the following thread on CF:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-p...autobuffs.html

... went to ask a question, but the thread was closed. I have been waiting for FRC's for many, many months. I have only received a JPG showing a mock-up of the finished product.

I already read the thread ... hence ... my questions. I looked again - no reference to how many times ownership has changed, or the last time the current ownership changed.

I hope this one doesn't get deleted....can't understand it, anyway, he was a very active member here and presented himself as one of the gang, so to speak...one of the few vendors that actually participated in threads even when they did not involve potential sales...something that has become quite rare now that the forum has aged. Personally, I would like to know more about this so in the future I can avoid getting burned for one thing, but also to understand this vendor stuff more...

Funny ... I got lambasted by forums members, when I posted a question, asking for INPUT on how to deal with a seemingly bad situation. Everyone came out against ME, and FOR A/B ... apparently, making up their minds in advance ... even though I was merely asking for input.

Someone from AB stepped into the thread ... responded to some of the others who had posted complimentary remarks, but never addressed me personally. It was promised that the issue would be addressed properly, and reasonably. I did receive an e-mail with a photoshopped mock-up of the product ... but nothing else. THAT'S why I was asking about who owns the company now.

Before this goes the wrong way, the business is responsible for all liability and debts ... regardless of the who personally or physically owns the company.

ONCE. Two different owners in the AB history.

Original owner sold it about 12-16 months ago to the current owner.

Did you already pay for the FRCs?

Let me make this clear for the 50th time.
Yes Jan and I sold the business and NO mr Long DID NOT PAY FOR THE FRC's he is asking about. In fact I sent him a photoshop of what they would look like and then when I sent him the price...I never heard from him again and this was over 6 months ago.

Why would someone bring this up if they havent paid for them nor inquired about them for this amount of time? Baffles me and then on top of it start a thread like this leading everyone to believe he ordered something and didnt get it which is the farthest thing from the truth.

I have emails which I dont seem it necassary to post but in the end this gentlemen didnt order a thing

Different question same vendor, didn't want to start another thread..

Are people still using Autobuffs? is the quality the same?

I need to have my rear painted, 2000 MY and they were one of the few who i seen consistently match the paint over and over.
