Default 17s all around

How many have put 17s all around on their car? In the market for some new wheels and trying to figure if I want to keep with the staggered wheels or go with same size on all four corners. Defiantly make rotating tires easier and it seems like there is more selection on the width of the tires.

Thanks,
Brandon

If you own a Vette, your last concern should be rotating tires.

I wouldn't see why there'd be an issue with this. The rear brakes are pretty small so there wouldn't be a clearance issue at all and they're not as wide as the 18's so they should fit with ease.

I'm not too concerned about rotating tires just saying it is a benefit if it was needed. Curious to why 18's would be better?

Wider tires and the shorter sidewall will flex less. Why would you want to put less rubber on the ground?

17's at all corners just wouldn't seem right. May have an issue with the traction control system.

I'm running 18's at all corners but the rear are 12" and the fronts are 10.5".

If a vette owner is concerned with tire rotation they should get a mini van.

no problems with 17s. Most guys run 17x11 rims with 17x315/35 on all four corners.

18s may be a better choice. I have been running 18s since fall of 03

On a ZO6, i certainly wouldnt go to a 17 rears. Wouldnt look right, possible traction control issues. 18s all around would be better. Even 18F-19R is possible. And ditto on worrying about tire rotation.

Default I'm looking at 18's all around

I'm not interested in rotating advantages. I'm looking at upgrading brake calipers and 18's give more options. I would be interested in purchasing your original 18X10.5" rear wheels if they are argent color.

I did this so I could run C6Z brakes without spending A LOT of money on a light weight set of wheels.
