Anybody else want to see more pictures of the girlfriend?
I really want to see this project when it is finished. I would like to do a carbon fiber wrap on some of the interior components but I am not sure that I have the same patience and I certainly don't have the time right now.
You and your girlfriend certainly have some talent but it seems you really don't have an eye for color with that white/tan combo in a red car. I could possibly see it in a white car but not red. Don't want to sound harsh but your avatar name really fits you.
hopefully that 3m glue works for you.i used the 3m spray 90 on some door panels i did for my old nova.worked/looked great until summer came.the spray 90 couldn't handle the heat and the fabric separated from the panel.ended up buying some contact spray from westech that's good to 240 degrees.redid the panels a couple months ago and it has held up to the heat.

I really never thought of heat as an issue
The 77 prob wont hold in the heat if the 90 wouldn't bc from what I understand that one if superior when it comes to heat
whats westech? Im early on in the project and dont mind back tracking and using the contact spray if it will hold up better long term.

Jerry
ahahaha Jerry beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
what other colors could we have done over the black?
Your right about it being more appropriate for a white car
and about the avatar !!! thats why it is that. I am very all over the place kind of guy. You should see the rims I have the car right now
and for the gran finally the seats!! Because if you have notices in my photos my are preety effed up. After 50,000km I dont understand how they are so worn down
I read here a lot about how the seats wear easily when I bought my car. I have over 70,000 miles on my car and no real wear on my seats yet. This leads me to a conclusion and with all due respect to the members here I think it's from fat people.
I can get in and out of my car without hardly touching the seat and without "plopping" down into it. I would venture that the seats that show a lot of wear were owned by people who squeeze into their cars and plop down on the seat.

That is a really interesting process you are doing. Certainly can't beat the cost you will have incurred in changing the interior color. Will be watching for more updates as you go along.
If you have a TR car, I think a mod red interior would have looked awesome. That or perhaps an oak interior like was available from the factory.

May I suggest that you take pics with a better quality camera. Looks like your project is going well. Please keep posting posts of your ongoing progress and good luck.

nah man. I'm 6'3 about 180..they fall apart. You're just a midget, yanking the heck out of you're steering wheel or taking forever to climb down into your car. lol
They'll eventually just start to come apart or crease up and then tear. I've even got one ripping apart at the seam.
GF is about 110 by the way so it ain't her either.
1st off the light in this little screen doesn't work well anymore
