Looks good to me, If it were me I would get a lower deductable, 500/1000 is a lot higher than I am use to. That is about what I pay for close to yours, But I have 250/500..Allstate

I have AARP/Hartford and my policy is a 300/500 with $500 collision ded and Comp/ zero Ded.
All the needed medical and such.
My premium is $230 a YEAR!
It helps to have my other car and my truck on the policy and I also have the Homeowners policy discount.
My total policy for all 3 vehicles is right at $1,000 a YEAR (not 6 months)
When i switched my cars and home from 30 years with Allstate, I saved a total of $1200 a YEAR!
I got a quote from Hagerty on the Vette and they wanted $650 for the agreed value.
My Vette has no mileage restrictions at all with Hartford and they have an A rating.

This also includes towing and Rental, though I have AAA premium w/200 mile towing..
In this case, it pays to be over 50 yr's old

I think your liability limits are kind of low and the comp/collision deductibles are a bit high, but hey, if you can live with it, then .

I would say that if you have any assets that you want to keep and have ever found your self driving while over the alcohol limit, reckless driving, after doing drugs, even texting or anything that you could be charged with gross negligence, buy as much coverage as you can afford.

Liability limits are to low along with the Property damage, What if you wipe out a new high dollar Mercedes with six people in it and they all grab their neck and start to groan. I don't know what state your in .......NYC, you've had the course, lost house, bank account and sit in debtor's prison (none exist now a day). If you are in the most parsley settled state you may survive if you can live on crackers and ketchup.

If you have no assets to protect (property, etc.) then the liability limits are just okay. Personally I carry $1 million umbrella just in case - it kicks in when the primary liability limits are exhausted. Otherwise, I would look into 250/500/250. Most new cars today cost more than $50K - if you total a brand new Corvette, where do you think the remainder of the property damage liability is going to come from....I'll tell you - your wallet.

Also - the one that I think is glaringly low is the uninsured/underinsured motorist. I would go with a minimum of 100/300/100. Remember, that coverage is in case you get hit by an uninsured or underinsured motorist. Without getting into a social documentary about illegal immigrants, or people that have lost their jobs and can't afford insurance - what do you think is the likelihood that you are going to get into an accident with someone who has no insurance?

Personally - I believe in dealing face to face with an agent, and prefer to not deal with some clerk at the end of an 800 number. Get a quote from a real agent, it's not going to cost that much more.

Not sure if you care or not but I went with a company that does an agreed cash value policy. So we decide the fair value of the car in case of total loss. Lookup your car on KBB.com and it's pretty shocking.

Property damage is to low. Increase to 100k. Quote it with 100/300/100 and 250/500/100 see the difference. $250 ded/comprehensive. Depending on how much you drive and your risk tolerance is what your collision deductible should be. I'd say 500 or 1000 but get em both quoted. Person Injury protection should be def. be looked into as well depending what state you're in. In NY I have 175,000 total PIP with OBEL which is work loss wages in a nutshell. UM/Underinsured should always match the liability limits hence at least 100/300. Next going along with what Blacksedan said is the "PLUP" or liability umbrella. Not sure if you own or rent but check into it. Even if you rent get a renter's insurance quote(covers person belongings, clothes, beds, dressers etc wherever you live, even if your still at home with the 'rents), relatively cheap and it will sometimes pay for itself with the mutli-line discount on the auto policy, still check into the umbrella though too cause its an even larger discount on the auto. Depending on what company and what state you live in the underlying liability limits have to be a minimum of 250/500/100. but it all comes down to price too. If your in your mid 20's 100/300/100 will be fine depending on assets. I second the agent thing as well. 1800 numbers suck and they really could care less about you or anyone else to be honest. Sit face to face and you'll see a difference, it will be needed when you have a claim and need someone to talk to in person. Hope this helps.

Your policy is right in line with mine.. My 3 autos are just over $1000 and the home is $595.
This is one of the few times it pays to be OLD!

I have lots of pictures of my Vette to prove condition. The agent at Hartford said I would get high book as long as everything I had to document the condition is in line.. I was shocked to get Hagertys quote at over $600 a year!

plus you are shortchanging yourself on your uninsured motorist coverage. that protects YOU should you have an accident with someone who has no insurance coverage. if you wind up in the hospital for any period of time you are woefully under insured. i had back surgery last year and my 3 day stay plus the operation exceeded $150,000. you get hit by some wackjob who runs a stop sign or a light and does you in, i hope you have good regular health insurance and that they will pay on a secondary basis for an auto accident. since you don't mention uninsured property damage coverage, i assume you didn't opt for it. hope your policy will cover with collision for an uninsured motorist. many won't without uninsured motorist property damage coverage. be sure to ask before you sign on the dotted line. if you live in florida like i do, you have to figure about 1 in 3 drivers is on the road without insurance and a good portion of the remainder are underinsured. make sure you go with a good company.
