splash guards & noise
1st time on-line so please be patient. Bought 2008 z06 3 months ago, and a ton of folks have told me to put on splash guards to protect the paint, and of course I have read the feedback regarding the vendors. Today I called the vette dealer and they install GM splash guards-----any reason why I shouldn't just go with these? Sounds like they may be a fairly new product....made for z06's, including a 2008.
Any good product to reduce the road noise? Don't want to get rid of the run flat tires as a few have suggested.

The factory C6 splash guards are the most attractive, maybe not the most effective ones I've seen. Us C-5ers have to modify them to work with our fenders, but you wouldn't have that problem.

C6 Z06 'splash guards' are the best looking, and you've already got them, anything else says 'John Deere'!
Have you seen many Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo's with mudflaps...no? How do they survive???
If you have to drive on dirt roads everyday, maybe a pickup is in order.
