I use the 303 cleaner and protector. Loads better protection than armor all and no silly greasy shine.

I have dash mats on all my cars just to avoid that additional glare when the sun hits it just right. Clear vision is a good thing.

With all due respect, I have used alcohol pads on the dash without any problem.
Once in a while, I also drink alcohol and that never caused a problem either.
