Default Glare on dash panel

I bought the car used and someone laid the armor-all on pretty good on the dash panel, and when the sun comes in the window it puts off a really bad glare. Is there any fix for this problem?

I suggest that you get a quality leather cleaner. I use Adams Products and his cleaner is excellent. That should take care of that.

Try using a moist rag with some mild dishwashing soap on it. It should help take off the Armor All and reduce the glare. Then dry with a soft rag.

Dude, armour-all is absolute crap! use a vinyl/leather cleaner and get another OTC product.
Adams make good products as mentioned above.
I use meguiar's and 303 products, work very well for me.
When I lived in TX I had a dash mat, due to extreme heat, worked like a charm.

One part liquid dish soap, five parts water in a small bucket. Two small towels, one to apply the soapy water and one to immediately wipe off the water. (Turn the cloths often) Worked for me!

That's why I have ONLY used filtered water from my tap to clean my interior. I have done that since it was new. I have always hated that Armor All crap.

I'm afraid you will need to use some sort of cleaner to remove the Armor All.

I did a GOOGLE search for "how to remove armor all from dash". A bunch of threads on other car forums came up. Might want to read thru them.

ARMORALL has been water based for several years now. Use the soap/water/towel method to remove it. It doesn't have to be soaking wet. Be careful of HUD if you have it.

Then treat the dash with the product of your choice. ZAINO works well for me.

been using the citrus cleaning wipes from the dollar store on mine. The dash still has a bad glare when the sun gets at the right height.
