I'm getting ready to replace my antifreeze (yes, I will continue to use Dexcool) and question whether I should use distilled water or tap water to make up a 50/50 solution. Service manual says "drinking quality water". Any suggestions, please? Thank you.

I did mine this weekend. I chose to get Prestone Dex-Cool Orange 50/50 mix. I got 3 gallons. I could have got Distilled water and mixed it myself, but I don't do this often so I figured get premix. I drained a little over 2 gallons from the car, and added a little over 2 gallons. I drove it to work today, and will top off if needed when I get home. Engine temps were the same when I got to work today as it normally is driving around (190-200F).

I just relaced my anti-freeze this week. Just follow the air purge procedure and it takes a little over a gallon of dexcool and a gallon of distilled water to replace the whole cooling system.
I lifted the back of the car and it helped drain. I also flushed out the coolant surge tank with 1/2 gallon distilled water to get the sludge / residue out while it was draining.
I followed this procedure and it burped all the air out and worked perfectly.
