Default Storing 2001 Corvette

I will be leaving my car in my garage for 3 months, no one driving it or starting it up. What should I do? Disconnect battery or anything special? Full tank of gas, add stabilize for fuel?

Thanks for info.

Mine sits in the garage most of the winter on a battery tender-that's it.

If I have a battery tender connected to the battery during winter storage should I also disconnect the negitive battery cable leaving the positive connected? I wasn't planning on disconnecting the battery, but this will be my first winter storage year for the vette. thanks

Leave the battery connected, just hook up a battery tender.

I suggest if you leave the battery in the vette to hook-up a trickle charger like a Ctek 3300 & leave both cables on...I don't know if you have any mice or other possible trouble makers around you may want to set some traps & use some bounce fabric sheets. You may need to make a list of what you've done so you don't forget to undo them when it's time to wake-up your baby. Good luck!

w/all of the above except disconnecting the neg battery cable. Leave the battery connected and buy a 2amp tender. And I would add put 30lbs of air in all four tires.

My battery is maintained with a BATTERY TENDER PLUS for six months of winter. The memory functions are maintained and it's ready to take out on a winter weekend if weather permits.

Ctek. And if you do have mice issues, also put some steel wool in your exhaust tips to keep them from crawling up in there and making nests.

Zacley ! I also try to keep a full tank sometimes with sta-bil. I do take it out during the winter when it is sunny and as dry as possible.

I've used the C-Teck on mine for 3 years and it works fine. I prefer to leave the battery all hooked up and ready to go. You never know when an emergency will happen and you need to move it fast. Think garage/house fire or something similar.

I do all of the above, I also put a few drier sheets on the floor around the car to keep mice from going under the hood, because if there hungry they love to eat wires we DON'T need that on a vette.
Good kuck
