Nevermind, I just played around with photoshop. There would be too much going on. Forget I posted this thread.
I was talking with a buddy of mine about all those fake side vents we see on cars around here, and It got me thinking. Do you guys think if done right, and real similar to the way you cut the rocker panels for Z06brake ducts into the car, it would work?
I am talking about the spot where the fender badges usually go. Think it is possible to have custom vents made, cut into the car and have them actually help function to remove more heat from the engine?
Let me know if you even think it is possible? Of course the vents would have to be a really good design for it to look right.
something in the line of this

unless someone forgot them, your car should already have vents in the fenders to help let the heat out. I don't see any reason to add more...it would look awful. but its your car, go for it if you like!
Just can't see additional side vents looking good on a Corvette.
looks stupid IMO but hey its your vette. Why not just remove the inner fender linner and the vents become funtional. I removed the driver side and drilled holes in the passenger side. Left the cover in to give some protection to the PMC. you can feel a lot of hot air coming out of my vents now. Almost no air before.
