Default My dilemma

I really hate the rust on the center hub of my rotors. I'm not interested in painting them, so I was thinking about purchasing the hub covers for 149.00 plus shipping. Then, I came across the drilled/slotted rotors from a vendor here for 239.00 shipped. I would prefer the drilled/slotted rotors, but pad changing is recommended when you replace the rotors. Since ive just changed the pads 500 miles ago, do guys think I can get away without changing the pads again??

I would say yes, but someone much more knowledgeable than me on braking issues can chime in and say yes or no.

New pads are a hundred bucks. Sell your "like new" ones and be done with it.

Thanks for your replies. I ordered the rotors, I'll keep the pads I have...

Think I'd paint what I had and upgrade next brake job.
