Default Is this True or False?

The calloway Honker would draw in hot radiator heat while at an idle or driving? Taking air in from right in front of the radiator--especially from idling and slow driving--

the air is probably no hotter than it would be at the stock location where it is sitting in the hot engine bay.

In answer to your question yes the air would be hotter than when moving faster. As for how much it is anyone's guess. Doubtful that it would be enough to matter. Your computer isn't going to do much under idle as far as adjusting things goes. I would say any speed at all would likely eliminate as air is going to be flowing in the opposite direction through the radiator and it would be extremely difficult for any of that air to be heated.

My vote is idle yes. Low speed no.

Im sure it will be a little warmer than the ambient temperature but considering that when you are driving slow or idling your fans come on they will be pulling cool air through the radiator.
The air goes from front to back so you shouldn't have too much trouble with temperature.

No problems. Not a honker but my own make

But then again have a big front breather scoop too

( bottom is sealed off so front breather not a bottom breather )
