I do want to knock Eklers down but i also had problems with my order, twice spark plug wires and other parts. But they were very fast in fixing the problems when we called them.
I have never ordered anything from any of the big catalog houses...I always seem to get turned off by the s/h costs. I have done business with a lot of vendors mentioned on CF and other forums with pretty good results. I won't do any business with any vendor that won't take the time to answer my initial email as I really don't like talking on the phone. I feel if a vendor won't respond to me when I'm ready to give them money, they won't respond to me if I have a problem with their product.
I have never had a problem with them. They have matched prices for me a number of times and if I had a problem with an item they have replaced it or refunded my money and told me to keep the items. Happy with their service so far.
I've never had a problem with them but it seems that more and more folks are so I will not be ordering from them again. It seems their reputation is getting worse all the time. I sincerely hope someone from their company is reading these threads and they can make some positive changes.
I spent a butt load of money a few years back on my 80 with Ecklers. 70% of it was imported JUNK. I called their customer service and got the run around. I made a post of my feelinge here on the C3 forum and got a blast of crap by a guy that works for them. Never going to drink the Ecklers KoolAid again!
