Though I am not surprised that some do not like it due to the room it takes, but I love my double and have never had anyone complain about it, even on long trips. I had the single one, but after I was telling everyone here about it and how it looks so at home with my interior, the owner of Jettco, Jack Jett sent me the double. Great guy and great product.
I make sure it is as far rearward as possible, and without it, I cannot imagine having any beverages at all in the car. By myself I use the other slot for cell phone or even my Garmin.
