Is 10,000 too much to expect for such a modified car?

If it were stock, I wouldn't even ask. Thought maybe the horsepower level might boost it a bit (pun intended)

sounds like it was rebuilt wrong, personaly I have no problem with salvage title cars or trucks if they we're fixed right!!! and since your tub was not replaced sounds like to me they just slapped the car back together

yeah, seller saw me coming. I didn't know much about these cars at the time and got excited about it. Looking back, I regret the purchase, but it has been fun.

As far as the engine goes, it ran great before I installed the mods. I believe it's something fairly simple, just hard to find.

if I end up parting it, I would keep those for a possible ls1 in my chevelle, which is one of the reasons I'm considering selling or parting

100K on the odometer,,problems with the car,,SALVAGE title,,,,just a good hunch that $10k would be VERY optimistic!! It would have to be a long shot/right buyer at the right time deal!!The average street driver is going to RUN from a salvage title especially when there are problems, Some body that wants to race,,might go for it,,,but they are going to LOW ball big time as they are going to tear it down and be replacing much of it!! Parting it out,,you STILL may be able to sell the rolling chassis/body to a racer for a fair price!!
