Default Another Lowering Request

Ok I need a little help. I have seen many post about lowering and pictures of C5 lowered with larger wheels (18/19 & 19/20). I am planning on doing a few thinks to my '01 over the next week or so and lowering it is one of the items. I would like to see what I can expect with using the stock bolts and stock wheels (17/18). So if anyone has any pictures of this situation I would like to see them.

That about sums it up. Get an alignment a couple weeks after she settles down.

This is my C5 ( I sold it a couple years ago) It was lowered on stock bolts. It has 18" wheels here on all fours BUT the tires equal OEM Z06 sizes (Outside Diameter)

Once lowered as you can well imagine, you should have a 4 wheel alignment done. No need to wait, it will settle down after driving it ONCE. One application of the brakes, one launch and it's settled.

Thanks for your picture from the front. I also have the ACI splitter and that is my main concern. Looks ok to me. I realize I need to watch for speed bumps as well as pulling in and out od driveways.

Some more pics for you. Lowered on stock bolts front and back. Stock size wheels. Also have the ACI splitter. if you have the option to leave the front a little higher and lower the rear as far as it will go. This will give the front a little more clearance. If you notice on mine the rear is a little higher than the fornt. I need to reverse this to get a little more clearance. I don't have any problems getting in and out of steep inclines as long as I can take it at a sharp angle, but the front is low.

18/19(sorry), and I used a lowering kit, but did not max it out. This should be very close to what full low on stock bolts will look like.

It is important to keep the natural rake of your car back to front for aero purposes. Off the top of my head I think i sit 26.5 back, and 26 front from ground to fender.

Here's mine lowered on stock bolts, cut 1/2 the front bushings and standing on 17/18 Cray Scorpions.
