Being an old man and having owned many used vehicles in my lifetime (cause I never had a lot of money), my 2cts is buy the best you can afford. If it's been in any accident, keep looking. Carfax will be your biggest help since it can't lie. Don't fork over any money till you're sure you've found YOUR car. That's what I did last May and it has worked out great!

walk away from it, the exhaust looks to be a borla, good luck. (black match box) I just bought a c5 coupe 2000, paid out the door 22 with only 21.162 miles. I did alot of looking befor I comitted, this is my 3rd, and I have loved them all.

honestly..I would wait. If you are looking at C5's for 10k or 11k...then you will most likely be disappointed. I would keep researching and saving until you can spend between 15-20k. You need to know the differences in the years, the different body styles, different motors and get out and drive some of each...that way you can make an informed decision and not regret buying a ragged out coupe for cheap when you seee a smokin Z06 roll by ....that you coulda bought had you been patient and waited a little longer. Just some friendly advice.
