Hey, I'm just trying to get some exposure to help the guy out...and yes, it is somewhat of a tech question...fitment. Do you have anything helpful to offer?

should fit fine, if it was in your '97 and he has a '97 as well.... there is a diff between the models of cargo mats for coupes and verts though.... get him to send you pics..... if it was for a vert I'd be all over it...good price!

Just a thought, maybe he found one brand new for just about the same price he paid for yours(with shipping)?? And now he's looking for an excuse to send them back?? I know I got mine brand new for about that price with shipping included.

Here are the pics he sent. Does anyone with a C5 coupe (hatchback) and a llyods cargo mat have a picture of theirs in the car. I didn't have mine in my car. I had taken it out months before I sold it so I don't remember how it fit.

Really not a Tech issue. Nothing technical about floormats....either they fit or they don't.

So basically this comes down to you selling something, and cannot speak to the aspects/fit of the item YOU sold, and the buyer purchasing something he has done no research on......and the tech forum should figure this out for you.

I've got to tell you guys...I'm a little taken back by the responses here. I started a thread with "Please" in the title and ended the post with "Thank you". I am asking for fellow Corvette enthusiast's experience with fitment of a product. I am sorry if I have chosen the wrong spot to ask the question. Does that mean you guys couldn't be helpful enough to just let me know if your mat fits like the one pictured? I have researched this issue. Every vendor I see selling this mat shows the one I sold as the correct mat for a C5 hatchback.

I don't think we were all being un-helpful, I was sincere, why don't you just refund him his money, if he pays shipping back to you, then you can re-sell it, that way no one has a bad experience out of this situation. I sold a guy a cam once, by the time he received it he changed his mind, for whatever reason, so I refunded him after he shipped it back his cost...no harm no foul...the Forum is a good place to do business with other Forum members...

I agree, not everyone is being unhelpful. Thank you for your suggestion. I am still curious to see others firsthand experience with the fitment of this mat.

I can't speak for fitment in a coupe, but the cargo mat in my vert fits like a glove.
