All I'm giving up is DVD and integrated navigation. (I have a stand-alone Garmin that works just fine.) I'm not sure what the craze is all about for a reverse mounted back-up camera.
The expensive unit I want would be one of the high-end Kenwoods. I'd stick with them because I like their Garmin navigation.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
You are right so many choice, many of my friends like Kenwood's also (fwtw)

Kenwood 6960
Kenwood 7160
Kenwood 9960
I can not post pricing on these due to MAP guidelines with Kenwood Unless you want to pay full MAP retail

There is a 6160 but for 35.00 more for the 6960 you get a remote, and an extra year warranty which is worth it.
