Well I did buy, and sell an 06 Z06 that I would have love to have driven for a while, but just too much money for my toy.
I'm in your camp on this one. I'd love a C6, but the C5 is all the vette I need given price of toy/performance. With my toy budget, C5 is all the vette I need right now. Wracking my brain on the insurance side. Paying $1,000 per year for a toy per year eats away at me. Got a quote from the museum for just under $400, BUT, not sure I can live with the restrictions. I'm happy for you that you made up your mind. I love to drive mine whenever I feel like and wherever I want to take it. Some may laugh at me, but I swear the streets of Manhattan were made for vette, never a dull moment.
Many of our club memebers have gone back to a C5 from their new C6's,and more say they wish they could but are upside down in them. Most say they get far more compliments with their C5's!

C5 or C6......both please
When I buy a C6, it will be to keep the C5 in my garage company at night because I will be driving one or the other every day.
The C6 will have to really impress me to make me get rid of my C5
I rode in a 2011 C6 Z06/Z07 at the funfest (Launch control is awesome) but could never afford a new one, so it will be a few years before I buy a base C6 Z51, and only after the C7 has driven the prices down below 20 for a decent C6, not a ratbag for 25K that is all I find so far.

Reason: goof
I would love to have a C6, but I just cant justify the cost of owning one because I got myself back in college, and paying my tuition is far more important at the moment. I hopefully will own a C6 along with my C5 in the near future.
I'm a huge fan of the C5 as well....like the C6 just still a little too much for me to spend on them...few more years. I can't imagine going through six of them...I find it hard to sell them off I like keeping them and letting the group grow.
