Default 2000 FRC Value

Been looking for a FRC for awhile now. Found one about 6 hours from me.
It is a silver 2000 FRC with 73xxx miles on it. It has Bose cassette with changer, power seat, HUD, dual climate, magnesium wheels and borla exhaust. He was asking $15750 and is now at $14500. The car seems to be in good shape. He is the fourth owner. Good deal or keep looking? Thanks for your help.

Based on the KBB for my area (Tampa Bay) it is a little high. The KBB shows it at $14,475 Excellent, $13,750 Good and $12,550 Fair. It is really up to you as to what you will pay. You can always start a little lower than his asking price and see what happens. Also look it over and see what may need to be done to it such as tires, brakes and so on. You can us that for the reason of the lower offer.

I bought my 99 FRC about 6 mo ago for a little over $15K with about the same miles and in mint condition. Even though it was over KBB it was exactly what I wanted. It has black C6Z wheels, full exhaust, black wing intake, and few other items. My suggestion is it is in good condition and what you want buy it.

It could very well be pewter. The seller calls it silver. Kelley Blue Book private party is 14475 excellent and 13750 good condition for my area. From the pics I have and the sellers description, I would say it is somewhere in between. Maybe I'll offer $14000.

Pewter, not silver.

The magnesium wheels were a very expensive ($2k at first .. less later), thus rare option, so factor that.

For me, a lower price is not the largest contributor to my used car purchase decision.
